IT consultants flock to new TopITconsultant.com site

 The Top-Consultant team
is celebrating the
successful launch of
www.TopITconsultant.com
which in July alone
attracted almost 11,000
IT consulting candidates
looking for positions in
the UK market. The new
site builds on the
reputation and reach of
Top-Consultant.com and
sees the team expand from
serving just the
management consultancy
sector to serving the
recruitment needs of IT
consulting practices as
well.
   Just like its sister
site, TopITconsultant.com
has campaigns running for

 many of the world’s most
prestigious consultancy
employers, including
A.T.Kearney, Accenture,
Capgemini, Deloitte and
IBM – to name just a few.
Alongside these are
campaigns from a number
of specialist IT
consultancy recruiters.
   Co-founder Tony
Restell stressed that the
launch was aimed at
addressing increasing
client demand for a niche
IT site.
   “Over the years, our
management consultancy
clients have consistently
found that a niche site
produces a higher degree
of relevant applications

 and a greater likelihood
of successful hires. With
growth in the IT
consulting market now
outstripping that in the
management consultancy
market, recruiters have
been clamouring for a
site that was similarly
focused on the IT
consulting sector. It
seemed a natural
extension for us to
expand into this related
niche – and having been
acquired by Jobsite in
2005 we are particularly
well placed to drive
relevant IT candidates to
the new site. Jobsite’s
reach into the IT
candidate market,

 combined with that of
Top-Consultant.com, means
we are already able to
deliver high-calibre IT
candidates only one month
after our launch date.”
   The salary
benchmarking survey
undertaken recently has
highlighted just how good
the site’s reach already
is into the IT consulting
market. Over 430 IT
consultants took part in
the survey, with
significant numbers of
respondents from
companies like Accenture,
Atos Origin,
BearingPoint, Capgemini,
CSC, Deloitte, Detica,
EDS, Fujitsu, IBM,

 LogicaCMG and PA
Consulting. The results
will be published later
in August – but the
exercise has already
demonstrated that the
niche approach is
attractive to candidates
too.
