Alistair Cox leaves Xansa for Hays

 Hays plc, the specialist
recruitment group, has
announced that its chief
executive, Denis Waxman,
is to retire in November
2007 and that Alistair
Cox will be joining the
company to succeed
Waxman on his
retirement.
   Waxman, aged 60, who
was one of the original
founders of the
business, has been a
main board director at
Hays for nine years and
was appointed chief

 executive in July 2004.
   Cox joins from Xansa
plc, the outsourcing and

company, where he has
been CEO since 2002.
Prior to this, he was
regional president of

from the Xansa Board and
resigned as chief

until a permanent
appointment has been
made.
   "The Board wishes to

Alexander. "He has
successfully refocused
the business on its

Xansa in an excellent
position to build
further on its success.
Our recent contract
renewals in the public

testament to the quality
and strength of our
business."
