Makers of The Apprentice on lookout for consulting talent

 Even if you've spent the
last 6 months jetting
back and forth from
client locations, few UK
readers will not have
heard of the TV series
The Apprentice.
   A huge success in
both the UK and US, a

 second series is now
being planned. Assistant
Producer Katie Attwood
said that the TV
producers believe a
high-flying management
consultant may just have
that balance of drive,
intellect and business

 flair needed to impress
tycoon Sir Alan Sugar.
And hence the search is
on to find a contestant
for series two from the
world of management
consultancy.
   If you're not
familiar with The

 Apprentice already,
fourteen aspiring
entrepreneurs undertook
rigorous tasks and
competed for a hefty
£100,000 job with serial
entrepreneur Sir Alan
Sugar.

spokesperson has said
that the sale should be
completed by the end of
the third quarter. EDS
has so far refused to
confirm that Monitor is

 the potential buyer. EDS
has also declined to put
a valuation on any deal,
but the Kearney is
thought to be worth less
than $500m.
